Anhydrous Aluminum Chloride is the principal catalyst used in Friedel Craft reaction for the manufacture of Ethyl benzene, Isopropyl benzene, Hydrocarbon resins, Terpene resins, Polybutenes, Anthraquinone, Ethyl Chloride, Dodecyl benzene, Dyestuffs ( Phthalo-cyanine blues and greens), Alkly aluminium, Titanium dioxide etc.
